Maintenance visits are carried out by, or supervised by, Registered Electricians. Electrical Plus is led by Andrew Baker, a Registered Electrician with over 30 years of experience, registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board. We are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, and every visit is backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty.
Most Auckland homes benefit from a maintenance visit every 6 to 12 months, depending on the property, its location and the type of lighting installed. We'll recommend the right schedule after your first visit.
No. While cleaning is part of every visit, our Outdoor Lighting Maintenance Programme is a preventative maintenance service. We inspect, lubricate and check the electrical condition of every fitting, helping catch problems early and extend their usable life.
Salt air and moisture speed up corrosion, seize screws and fixings, and can deteriorate electrical connections inside light fittings. Regular maintenance helps significantly reduce these effects, particularly for homes on the North Shore and other coastal parts of Auckland.
We'll let you know straight away and provide honest advice on the best way forward, whether that's a simple repair or, if needed, a fitting replacement.
Yes. We maintain all types of exterior, garden, entrance, architectural and landscape lighting, regardless of brand or manufacturer.
Yes. Every visit we complete is backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Any products or materials we supply are also covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty.
In most cases, we can provide a fixed price quotation on the same day as our site visit, often before we leave your property.
