Why upgrade your commercial lighting to LED?
Older fluorescent, halogen and high-bay lighting can be expensive to run and maintain. Upgrading to LED can reduce energy use, improve light quality and cut down on ongoing lamp and maintenance costs.
We can replace existing fittings with modern LED alternatives or, where suitable, retrofit existing fittings with LED technology. We'll assess what you already have and recommend the most practical option for your building, budget and lighting requirements.

LED upgrades, controls and certification
Commercial lighting work is carried out to AS/NZS 3000, the wiring standard New Zealand electrical work is done to, and the installation is tested and certified when it is finished.
Where a fitting can be retrofitted with LED technology rather than replaced, we will tell you, because it is usually the cheaper option. Where the existing fitting is at the end of its life, replacing it outright is normally the better value over time. We will assess what is already there and explain both.
All work is carried out by, or supervised by, Registered Electricians. Electrical Plus is led by Andrew Baker, a Registered Electrician with over 30 years of experience, registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board, and the company is Site Safe certified. Our workmanship is backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
Yes. We regularly replace older fluorescent fittings with LED alternatives, including LED battens and LED panels, improving light quality while reducing energy use and ongoing maintenance.

Yes. Every job we complete is backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty. Any products or materials we supply are also covered by the applicable manufacturer's warranty.
For straightforward lighting upgrades, we can often provide a fixed-price quotation following a site visit. Larger projects may require plans, lighting quantities or further assessment before the quote is finalised.
