An exterior heater installation is the supply, positioning and wiring of a wall or ceiling mounted outdoor heater on a deck, patio or entertaining area, on its own correctly protected circuit. Outdoor heating work is carried out by, or supervised by, Registered Electricians. Electrical Plus is led by Andrew Baker, a Registered Electrician with over 30 years of experience, registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board. We are open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, and every installation is backed by our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty.
Yes. Outdoor heaters draw enough power that they need their own correctly sized, RCD-protected circuit rather than sharing an existing outdoor power point.
Yes. We can run new wiring to an existing deck, patio or outdoor living area and mount the heater in the position that gives the best coverage.
We can supply and install a range of outdoor heaters, or install one you've already purchased. We're happy to recommend the right heater, size and position for your outdoor area.
Yes. Depending on the heater, we can set it up with a wall switch, remote control or smart control, giving you an easy way to turn the heater on and off and, on compatible models, adjust the heat level.
Outdoor heaters are exposed to moisture, salt air, dust and changing weather conditions. This can be particularly hard on equipment in Auckland's coastal areas. Periodic checks can help identify corrosion, deterioration, damaged connections or other issues before they cause the heater to fail.
In most cases, we can provide a fixed-price quotation on the same day as our site visit.
